TOPIK Vocabulary List by Level
The words from the official curriculum for learners of Korean, sorted into six levels that match TOPIK's scale. Every word comes with its romanization, its English meaning and a link to the learner dictionary.
These lists keep growing. I'm adding the words level by level from the official curriculum, so more levels will show up here as they're ready.
The full curriculum has 10,636 words across six levels. Each level builds on the one before, so if you're aiming for level 3, the level 1 and 2 words are part of it too.
Word list: 국제 통용 한국어 표준 교육과정 (gukje tongyong hangugeo pyojun gyoyukgwajeong), the International Standard Curriculum of Korean, by the National Institute of Korean Language, used under the Korea Open Government License, Type 1. English meanings: the institute's Basic Korean Dictionary (한국어기초사전, hangugeo gichosajeon). Each word links to its dictionary entry.
