좋다 + (는)군요

군요 or 네요?

Both react to something new. 네요 is the more everyday one, for what you notice right now with your own eyes. (는)군요 often follows something you've just been told or worked out, and it sounds a little more thoughtful:

  • 와, 경치가 좋네요! wa, gyeongchiga jonneyo "Wow, what a view!" You're looking at it.
  • 아, 고향이 부산이군요. a, gohyangi busanigunyo "Oh, so you're from Busan." They just told you.

The casual form: (는)구나

With friends, use (는)구나 (neun)guna: 그렇구나 geureokuna, "I see", or 벌써 왔구나 beolsseo watguna, "Oh, you're already here."
