In conversation, people often say it more simply
뿐만 아니라 sounds deliberate, like you're building a case. In everyday chat, most people just use 고 go or a 도 do:
- 싸고 맛있어요. ssago masisseoyo "It's cheap and tasty."
- 게다가 gedaga "on top of that" is the casual way to start a new sentence.
So use 뿐만 아니라 when you want to stress the second point, in writing, or when you're recommending something.
"Not only a doctor": 일 뿐만 아니라
With a noun as the description, add 이다 ida first, in the ㄹ form:
- 그는 의사일 뿐만 아니라 작가예요. geuneun uisail ppunman anira jakgayeyo "He's not just a doctor. He's a writer too."
- 의사뿐만 아니라 uisappunman anira "not only doctors" is different: it means doctors and other people too.
