Target: (으)ㄹ 수 있다, (으)ㄹ 수 없다
Expresses ability or possibility.
Structure
•
Verb Stem + (으)ㄹ + 수 + 있다/없다.
•
(으)ㄹ: Future/Prospective noun modifier.
•
수: Bound noun meaning "way" or "ability".
•
있다/없다: To exist / not exist.
Meaning
"There is a way to do X" (Can).
"There is no way to do X" (Cannot).
Example:
* 한국말을 할 수 있어요. (I can speak Korean).
